This series of work is the result of my research and interpretation into the history and deeper symbolism of the Major Arcana Tarot. Tarot are the ancestor of modern playing cards used in fortune telling. Occultists state it was invented by ancient Egyptians, others say in Fez in 1200 A.D. but the true origins and records are lost in time. The 22 cards of the Major Arcana are connected with the 22 Hebrew letters, 22 paths of the Cabalistic Tree of Life and the 22 works of Genesis. There is Occult belief that if fully understood the figures in the Tarot unlock the mysteries of the universe.
