If you're planning to pay annual dues or make a larger gift of $100 or more,
the dollar-for-dollar match windows are made for you. Give up to $500 and it gets fully doubled
by a sponsor — your $100 becomes $200, your $500 becomes $1,000 going directly to Hera.
These windows run until the pool is gone, which can happen in under two minutes.
Set an alarm and be logged in and ready to give before the window opens.

Two ways every donor helps Hera
Unique donors unlock prize drawings
Headcount matters as much as amount
Hera qualifies for random cash prizes of $500–$1,000 just by having enough unique donors give by a certain hour. Five people giving $5 each is all it takes. Share our link with friends and family — their $5 gift counts just as much as a $500 one for this.
Flat matches amplify small gifts
$5 becomes $25–$30 at certain times
During the flat-match windows, every online gift gets a fixed dollar amount added — no matter the size. A $5 gift gets $20 or $25 added to it. This is the best time for donors who can't give a lot but still want maximum impact.

A few reminders before you give: All gifts must be made online at 401gives.org to qualify for matches and prizes. The minimum qualifying gift is $5. One unique donor = one gift of $5 or more per organization. If you give multiple times to Hera, it still counts as one unique donor — so encourage friends to give separately from their own accounts!
