Hera's
Student
Scholarship Membership is an opportunity for a motivated
visual
arts student to become part of a professional artist's space for
one year. Students will serve on the Board of Directors, assuming
all responsibilities and duties, and will mount their own solo
exhibition. Alternately, students may curate their own
exhibtion.
Eligibility:
BFA
students and art majors entering their last year and all MFA students
are eligible. The deadline is May 31, 2006. The scholarship period
is
September 2006 - August 2007.

31, 2006: Submission Deadline
July 1, 2006: Notification
September 2006: Scholarship
Membership Begins, First Board Meeting
August 2007:
End of Scholarship Period
How
to Apply:
Interested
students should download a Membership
Application (used by professional applicants) and indicate that
they are applying for the Student Scholarship Membership. A completed
application includes:
- completed
application form
- resume
- names
and complete contact information for two references
- 20
slides, with an accompanying slide list
- if
slides are not available, a CD ROM or a portfolio of original
works are also acceptable
