This Exhibition

The 22nd Annual Children’s and the 20th Annual Young Adults' Art Exhibition is scheduled for February 4 through March 4, 2006 at the Hera Gallery, 327 Main Street, Wakefield, Rhode Island. Students in grades K-8 are invited to an opening reception on Saturday, February 4 from 10:00 to 12:00pm. The opening reception and awards ceremony for students in grades 9-12 will be held from 7:00 to 9:00pm.

Over 300 Rhode Island public, private and home-schooled students have been invited to participate in this premier exhibition. The Hera Gallery and Hera Educational Foundation offers this annual opportunity for students to present their original artwork to the community in a professional gallery setting. Entries are generally referred by elementary, middle and high schools from throughout the State, although students may submit their work independently from their school. The public is enthusiastically encouraged to attend the opening, or visit the Gallery during regular hours during the month-long Exhibition, to view this impressive work by our young people.

For additional information, or donations of checks made payable to the Hera Educational Foundation, contact Hera Gallery, 327 Main Street, Wakefield, RI 02879, telephone number
401-789-1488.
